AXE Poll

AXE 3 is still being enhanced, and there's always the upcoming complete rewrite, AXE 4, to think of. We need guidance. Please help us by taking a second to do our poll...

What is the most important aspect of AXE's functionality for you?

Structures -- I work with them all the time
Scripts -- I'm one of the elite users who has actually learned to write AXE scripts
The editing interface -- I do a lot of editing and searching and marking and arithmetic
The memory edit feature -- It's friendlier than SoftICE
The analysis features -- I use the regularity finder and grammar generator all the time
Nothing in particular

The thing I would most like to see in version 4 is:

More powerful structures -- for instance, structure members whose value is derived by a script
More analysis tools (statistics, pattern finding etc)
Better raw disk editing and/or support for filesystem manipulation
Better scriptability -- e.g. external modules, or a scripting language that can access all AXE's features

What AXE version did you first use or evaluate?

None, I'm just surfing the web.
Version 3.4 is the first one for me.
I started with version 3.0 - 3.3
I started with version 2
I started with version 2 and I'm sticking with it. Version 3 is just bloated eye candy!

What OS do you -- or might you -- use AXE on?

Windows 95, 98 or ME
Windows NT
Windows 2000 or XP

What do you think of this website?

It's a good website, it does the job
It's shoddy -- AXE would benefit from a better one
Enough with all the orange, already!
